White and Williams Food Drive Supports Communities Facing Hunger this Holiday Season

11.30.21

For the sixth consecutive year, White and Williams' Food Drive supported local communities facing hunger - this year, as the holiday season begins. Together, White and Williams' lawyer, staff and firm contributions combined to provide more than 75,000 meals to those in need. The firm partnered with Feeding America, the nation's largest hunger-relief organization, which serves communities across the country, including those local to firm offices.

The pandemic and related supply chain issues have increased food insecurity. According to the USDA, more than 38 million people, including 12 million children, in the United States are food insecure. Many households experiencing food insecurity do not qualify for federal nutrition programs and visit local food banks and other food programs affiliated with Feeding America for support.

White and Williams remains committed to giving back through both community and pro bono service efforts.
