OVERVIEW
Alex is an Associate in the Commercial Litigation department based in the firm’s Philadelphia office. Alex first joined the firm as a Summer Associate where she gained practical experience and exposure to various areas of legal practice.
During law school, Alex served as the Production Editor for the Villanova Environmental Law Journal, where she managed editorial timelines and completed technical edits for published articles. Alex also worked as a Legal Writing Teaching Assistant, instructing and mentoring first year students regarding legal writing conventions and Bluebook citation rules. Moreover, Alex completed a judicial externship with Judge Joseph F. Leeson in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, where she conducted legal research, drafted memoranda analyzing issues raised in pending cases, and presented recommendations to the Judge.
Before attending law school, Alex worked as an Immigration Paralegal at a firm in Pittsburgh. In this role, she prepared and filed employment and family-based visa petitions with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, U.S. Consulates, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
