OVERVIEW
Rick Sawin joined the firm in November 2023 and is a Partner in the Litigation Practice Group. Rick's areas of focus include insurance defense litigation, particularly products liability, in which he represents manufacturers, sellers, distributors and marketers; construction cases; automobile and transportation cases; and multi-party complex civil litigation involving health and education institutions and antitrust matters.
Rick has focused on matters including the defense of retailers, social service agencies, schools, landowners, cable companies, sporting goods companies and transportation companies against claims of premises liability, negligence, breach of contract, violations of Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 93A and indemnity, as well as the defense of corporations against antitrust claims.
