OVERVIEW
Volodymyr (“Vlod”) Basok represents real estate investors, private and institutional lenders and developers in a range of commercial real estate transactions, with concentration on commercial real estate financing matters. He draws on his previous experience working in-house for an international commercial bank and major national insurance company to understand the perspective of his clients and their stakeholders.
Vlod's experience encompasses a wide range of real estate related issues, including financing major construction and renovation projects, mezzanine lending deals, complex syndicated transactions, affordable housing projects, secured and unsecured credit facilities, preferred equity and property acquisitions.
Vlod is experienced in resolving complex title issues, handling multi-layered co-lender arrangements, ground and space leases, construction-related contracts, purchase and sale agreements, franchise agreements. He also often works on issuing various legal opinions, including non-consolidation opinions, true lease and state law enforceability opinions.
Vlod speaks Ukrainian, Russian and Polish.
