Youth courts in schools are becoming increasingly popular in the tri-state area. These programs provide alternatives to suspension and expulsion for misbehavior and aim to educate and rehabilitate youth offenders early, allowing their classmates to take an interest in the process. In the Spring 2017 At Issue, a Pennsylvania Bar Association Young Lawyers Division publication, Jason and Geoff explain how the youth court process works and the role local lawyers have played in the program's development.
