Celebrating 30 Years of the ADA
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The ADA has transformed American society in many ways and has enabled a generation of Americans with disabilities to advance further in their personal and professional lives. At the same time, there continue to be barriers and we must continue to promote equal opportunity for people with disabilities.
Nancy Conrad, Chair of the PBA Diversity Team, along with a panel of attorneys who practice in employment law, civil rights and family law, will discuss this landmark Act and its impact on their lives and practices. For more information, and to register, please visit the event page.
The PBA Diversity Team is committed to working collaboratively to promote and enhance existing diversity initiatives and/or assist with creating new opportunities. Recognizing that an environment that supports diversity and inclusion fosters greater creativity, respect and innovation, the Diversity Team has developed this series of short programs to provide a framework for implementing change and for translating insights into actions that will help achieve and maintain a more inclusive environment within your organization. Visit the Diversity Team’s resources page for more information on the team and its programming.
