5th Edition of "General Liability Insurance Coverage - Key Issues in Every State" Now Available

7.13.21

The long awaited 5th edition of "General Liability Insurance Coverage - Key Issues in Every State" is now available.

"Key Issues" was first released in January 2011. Now on it’s 5th edition, “Key Issues” (Vols. I and II), quoted as the ‘Bible’ in the field, sets forth the rules that have been adopted by all 50 states, and the District of Columbia, for 20 important and commonly occurring general liability insurance coverage issues. And about half the issues are just as relevant for professional liability claims scenarios. It is intended to serve as a desk reference that can quickly and conveniently provide claims professionals, brokers, risk managers, risk consultants, lawyers, regulators and judges with the law in every state for every key general liability coverage issue.

The 5th edition includes descriptions of nearly 1,000 cases (mostly from 2017-2021) and an updated chapter addressing the ALI’s Restatement of the Law of Liability Insurance.

The book was co-authored by counsel Randy Maniloff, Professor Jeffrey Stempel of the University of Nevada Las Vegas Boyd School of Law and associate Margo Meta.
