Partner Greg Capps has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Support Center for Child Advocates. His three-year term officially began on July 1, 2020. In addition to his advisory responsibilities, Greg will serve on the committee for the 2020 Golf Classic, a key fundraising initiative that supports the organization's special project, Children with Complex Medical Needs, an important initiative which serves more than 150 children each year.

Greg has been involved in pro bono programs since before he began practicing law and considers pro bono service an important aspect of his practice that enables him to give back to the greater community. He has volunteered with numerous organizations over his career and has spent more than a decade working with the Support Center for Child Advocates, representing abused and neglected children across Philadelphia.

"I am honored to join the Board of the Support Center for Child Advocates. I have worked as a volunteer attorney for more than ten years representing children when they are most vulnerable and in need of guidance/support. I look forward to continuing in my volunteer role and making a difference in the lives of children as a new member of the Board,” said Greg.

Founded in 1977, the Support Center for Child Advocates provides legal assistance and social service advocacy for abused and neglected children in Philadelphia County. Child Advocates is one of the most successful volunteer models serving children in the country and seeks to protect children by securing social services, finding alternative homes and helping them testify in court. For all children committed to its care, the organization works to ensure safety, health, education, family permanency and access to justice.
