Heidi Sorvino Appointed President-Elect of the Turnaround Management Association’s New York City Chapter

Partner Heidi Sorvino has been appointed President-Elect of the Turnaround Management Association's (TMA) New York City Chapter. Her one-year term began on January 1, 2021 and she will be appointed president of the chapter in 2022. As President-Elect, Heidi will serve on the Executive Board. Heidi is a long-time member of TMA, previously serving as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, and on its Global Board of Trustees.

Heidi is nationally recognized by her clients and peers as a leading lawyer in the practice of financial restructuring and bankruptcy. She concentrates her practice on corporate restructurings, complex bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, representing creditors and debtors through all phases of Chapter 11 and 7 bankruptcy both inside and outside the courtroom.

The TMA New York City chapter is the largest chapter globally for 2021. Established in 1988, TMA has almost 10,000 members in 53 chapters worldwide, including 33 North American chapters.
