Vince Barbera Named Chair-Elect of the Philadelphia Bar Association Young Lawyers Division

Vince Barbera, an associate in the General Commercial Litigation Group, has been named Chair-Elect of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division. The mission of the YLD is to promote the interests of young lawyers, improve the quality of the legal system, encourage the professional development of young lawyers through educational and service programs, participate in the growth and advancement of the legal profession, and encourage young lawyers to represent deserving clients on a pro bono basis.

In addition to serving on the Cabinet of the YLD Executive Committee, Vince will serve as Chair of the Community Outreach Committee, coordinating volunteer service projects in the Philadelphia region, including the annual Law Week events. He will also represent the YLD on the Philadelphia Bar Association's Board of Governors. 

Vince focuses his practice on prosecuting claims and defending clients in a wide variety of business litigation matters, including actions involving partnership and shareholder disputes, restrictive covenant enforcement and defense, intellectual property disputes, real estate disputes, professional liability claims, defamation actions, lender liability and consumer protection law claims, unfair competition and other business torts, judgment enforcement/collection and various contract-based disputes.

Vince is actively involved in the Philadelphia legal community. In addition to his involvement with the YLD, he is a member of the Board of Governors of the Justinian Society.
