White And Williams LLP Announces New Litigation Department Leadership
White and Williams LLP is proud to announce the appointment of Christian (Chris) Singewald, as the Firm’s new Litigation Department Chair. Chris is succeeding Robert Devine, who served as Chair of the Department for 12 years. Bob will continue to serve clients as Partner in the Litigation Department.

"Chris is a seasoned leader having over 28 years of experience here at the firm and is a very talented attorney. “We thank Bob Devine for his years of outstanding leadership as Chair of the Litigation Department. He has played an important role in the overall success of the department over the years, and his many contributions will continue to resonate for years to come.”
Chris currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Firm’s Product Liability Group and is the Managing Partner of the Delaware Office. Chris has over 28 years of experience as lead counsel defending national and international companies in environmental/toxic tort, product liability, professional malpractice, and business/corporate disputes in Delaware Superior Court, the Delaware Court of Chancery and District Court for the District of Delaware.
He has defended manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers of automobiles, airplanes, chemicals, drugs, household products, industrial equipment, forestry equipment and medical devices, and has served as national and regional coordinating counsel for companies engaged in mass tort litigation.
Chris is an AV Preeminent® rated attorney by the Martindale-Hubbell peer review rating system and has been named to The Best Lawyers in America® list since 2019 in the practice area of Product Liability Litigation - Defendants. He is an active participant in a number of Firm committees, including the Executive Committee, Compensation Committee, Lateral Partner Recruitment Committee and Strategic Planning Committee. He is also the member of several legal organizations, including the International Association of Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute, Defense Counsel of Delaware and the Delaware State Bar Association.
