White and Williams Sponsors Narberth Ambulance EMS Camp

6.27.17

White and Williams was a key supporter of the Narberth Ambulance Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Camp, which ran from June 19-23 in Ardmore, Pennsylvania.

Forty campers, ranging in age from 10 to 14, spent the week furthering their interest and knowledge about potential careers as a first responder. The campers engaged in a variety of activities, including visits to the Montgomery County 9-1-1 Emergency Center, a local fire house, the Lower Merion Police Station and Lankenau Trauma Center, as well as a tour of a medical helicopter, a session with the bomb unit, and CPR and first aid training.

Partner David Zaslow presented the White and Williams Junior EMS Hero Award to Matteo Magnarelli. The award recognizes a camper who exemplifies a deep interest in public service and demonstrates an outgoing personality during camp.

Dave has a long history of involvement with the Narberth Ambulance, having joined as an inaugural member of the Junior Member program in 1985 and remaining active as a volunteer ever since. He is currently the President and Assistant Chief of the company and a paramedic in the field. Dave also focuses on the representation of first responders in liability exposure matters.
