Don’t Let Negative Corpus Take The Spark Out of Your Expert’s Causation Opinion
Chris Konzelmann will be a speaker at the 2016 National Association of Subrogation Professionals’ Litigation Skills and Management Conference. His session, titled “Don’t Let Negative Corpus Take the Spark Out of Your Expert’s Causation Opinion,” will discuss how fire investigators who properly employ a process of elimination analysis pursuant to NFPA 921 do not engage in a negative corpus analysis, an analysis that NFPA 921 does not sanction. Similarly, the session will address how a subrogating insurer can pursue a products liability case when the product at issue is involved in a fire that destroys physical evidence.
The NASP 2016 Litigation Skills and Management Conference is a high-level educational event that will be held April 7-8, 2016 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
